LoginDesktop Client
- We have created out Desktop Client so it is even easier for you to upload files to your online account.

1Ghz Processor
256MB RAM
These are guidelines, our Desktop Client is so lightweight it will run on even the worst spec machine.
Installation
The Desktop Client has been packaged into a small MSI file which will start the installation on its own.Simply follow the on-screen instructions and we'll get you going - it should take less than a minute.
Starting it up
The installation will put shortcuts onto your desktop and start menu.
Simply locate the icon pictured to the right and double click it.
This will start the Desktop Client.

The Desktop Client opens silently to the menu bar (next to the clock).

Logging in
Now that you have double clicked on the 2Big2Send icon in the menu bar you will see a login screen.
If you do not have a 2Big2Send account don't worry, click Register on the login window and return to this point.
Now all you have to do is type your email address and password you used to signup to 2Big2Send and click 'Ok'.
This will log you in.

When you are successfully logged in you will see this notification bubble.
Upload Window
To open the upload window double click the menu bar icon.
This is the main program window where you can drag files and folder to upload to your online account.
The percentage bar at the bottom shows you how much of your online disk space you are currently using.
Clicking 'Always on top' makes it easier to find and drag files into the window because the window will stay in the foreground.
Clicking the 'Browse' button opens a file selector window which allows you to browse your hard disks for the file you wish to upload.
Clicking 'Clear' clears all completed uploads.
You can close this window without the fear that you uploads will stop :)

Projected usage
When you grag and hover files over the upload window (ie: don't release the mouse button), we will calculate the new projected disk usage.
We say projected because we can compress files and we do not know how small we can make them unti we actually do it.

Uploading
Once the files or folders you wish to upload have been dragged onto the upload window the uploads will begin.
We show the current progress and the average speed each upload is running at.
We queue uploads to make the uploads faster by not bogging down your upload connection to our servers.
By default this is set to '5' but this can be changed in the options menu.

To get to the options menu simply right click on the 2Big2Send icon in the menu bar (next to the clock) and select 'Options.

The first options tab allows you to reset your email address and password (also save them).
You can select if the Desktop Client starts when Microsoft Windows Starts.

In the 'Uploads' tab you can select how many simultaneous uploads occur (max: 5)
By default we compress all your files and folders that are dragged into the upload window.
You have the option not to have your files compressed, to do this just un-tick the 'Compress files before upload' box.

Compression
We thought it would be nice to relieve you of atleast one task, compressing your files and folders.
Every folder that you drag in we will compress and upload it as the folder name.
By compressing everything it gives you better disk usage ie: you can upload more.
And it makes the uploads and downloads alot faster because the file sizes will be smaller.
